The RODA construction company was founded in Pontevico (province of Brescia) to engage in the design and construction of public and private buildings.
The company started specialising in the construction of electric power transmission lines.
Incorporated by merger:
– IAB S.p.A, engaged in wholesale and retail trading of meat produce.
Incorporated by merger:
– FIORI FRATELLI Srl which is engaged in the construction of aqueducts, sewerage systems and roads;
– COSMO Spa which is involved in the construction of railway infrastructure and jacked underpasses.
In addition, Roda established Consorzio Italia 2000 together with two other companies to perform work abroad;
Roda currently owns more than 90% of the consortium.
This period saw the laying of thousands of kilometres of overhead and underground optical fibre throughout the national territory, including the exploitation of internally developed innovative systems.
2011-2013
The Nuova DLM Valvo mechanical company, based in the province of Cremona, was acquired in 2011.
During these years, the company incorporated various real estate enterprises located in the Brescia area.
A further Merger incorporated Mazzalai Spa, a historic Trentino company, leader in the construction of power transmission lines, cableways and railways.
We are leaders in the design, construction and maintenance of extra high voltage electric power transmission and distribution lines, both in Italy and abroad.
For the Italian market, we are among the few contractors qualified by TERNA Rete Italia S.p.A to work on overhead power lines up to a maximum voltage of 380 kV, while abroad, we are currently active in France and Norway for the public utilities RTE and STATNETT.
We are also active in the field of the design and construction of underground cable lines, also for international interconnections in direct current (500 kV cc).
